Verbreitet ist die Annahme, dass eine Dichtung mit Innenbördel gegenüber einer ungebördelten Dichtung grundsätzlich eine höhere Dichtigkeit aufweist. Welche Materialprüfanstalt hat diese Messungen denn durchgeführt und bestätigt?

Umfangreiche Messungen an der Materialprüfanstalt in Stuttgart haben bestätigt, dass bei gebördelten Dichtungen meist eine deutliche Verschlechterung der Leckage eintritt, wie das Diagramm auf [bitte keine Links im Forum!] am Beispiel einer Faserstoffdichtung zeigt. Ich denke, das ist auch bei Flachdichtungen so. In der Praxis steht für die Dichtverbindung oft nur ein geringes Potenzial an Flächenpressung zur Verfügung.
